Originally Pinnacle Peak Mountain and entire surrounding area was owned by the State of Arizona and was only used for outdoor recreation, such as hiking, rock climbing, horseback riding and mountain biking. However, as Scottsdale began to grow, Pinnacle Peak Mountain and the adjacent land was annexed by the ever-growing Scottsdale in 1982. Pinnacle Peak is now home to some of the larger estate and horse properties in Scottsdale. And like DC Ranch and Grayhawk close to a growing number of amenities including shops and restaurants.
The real estate in Pinnacle Peak is sure accommodate space needs. Within these communities youíll typically find larger, single family homes of various ages and architectural styles.
Many of the homes feature homes sites well over two acres! Need space and like horses, the Pinnacle Peak Ranchos subdivision allows horses. Residents of these communities are only about 15 minutes away from Loop 101 freeway and all of the outstanding amenities and attractions of Scottsdale and the Phoenix Metropolitan Area.
Pinnacle Peak has a reputation for being a quiet community with income and property values that tend to be higher than those in other parts of Maricopa County. Residents are offered membership privileges at The Pinnacle Peak Private Country Club and are only 25 minutes to the Scottsdale Center for the Arts and the Scottsdale Symphony. A plethora of outdoor recreation options can be found at the nearby 150 acre Pinnacle Peak Mountain and park. This natural preserve boasts moderate-level rock climbing and hiking amidst an abundance of picturesque natural beauty.
